Last day / First day

This is the last day in Portugal and the first day on a new adventure.
The plane left the airport with about an half an hour delay and the pilot announced that despite this minor delay, we would arrive only 10 minutes after the original time because he set a different course and was going faster yada yada yada.
Anyway, we did get into the London skies on the predicted time by the revised schedule only to be kept waiting on the queue to the runway. So at what time did we land? Exactly half an hour after the original schedule. Yeah, it was worth the effort.
Surprinsingly, it is not raining! In fact, it's sunny and rather hot. Typical British weather.
